Portland, ME (June 9, 2026) – Chalkline, Inc. has partnered with Wile Specification Services to offer all VisiSpecs customers free access to the engineering master library as part of the VisiSpecs Community Masters Program.
Wile’s engineering specifications are the result of years of experience producing project specifications, performing contract administration, and conducting site inspections.
By including them in the Community Masters Program, Chalkline makes it easier for users to access high-quality, ready-to-use spec documents directly within their existing workflow.
“My goal was to make Wile’s engineering specification content widely accessible in a way that improves both efficiency and usability for project teams,” said Wile Specification Services owner, Lynn Wile. “VisiSpecs allows users to integrate master content into their project workflow without requiring significant changes to existing standards or tools.”
The VisiSpecs Community Masters Program is designed to support collaboration and knowledge sharing by providing access to trusted specification resources developed by industry leaders. In addition to Wile Engineering Specifications, the program includes TRC Architectural Master Guide Specifications, Kalin Associates Short Form Masters, and the National Research Council of Canada National Master Specification (NMS). NMS content is available in both MasterFormat and UniFormat, in English and French. The VisiSpecs Template Masters also include AI-generated specifications and allow users to customize and develop their own office masters as needed.
