Chalkline, Inc. is seeking an experienced and motivated DevOps / Cloud Engineer to manage our Microsoft Azure integrations and to improve the installation, upgrade, and maintenance of our on-premises services at customer locations.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage our REST Service utilizing Azure App Services, SQL, Storage, Networking, AFD and more.
  • Improve and manage our existing disaster recovery plan.
  • Design, implement, and maintain an improved testing/release process for building, testing, and deploying our applications.
  • Help implement and maintain SSO access to our applications with Microsoft Entra ID and Okta Auth0.
  • Establish observability (Application Insights dashboards, alerting) and reliability practices (runbooks, SLOs, incident response, root cause analysis).
  • Harden platform security: identity and access (Microsoft Entra ID/OIDC), secrets management, patching, vulnerability remediation, and least privilege controls.
  • Plan and execute releases across environments (dev/test/staging/production), including database changes, data migrations, and rollback strategies.
  • Lead on-prem customer deployments and help create and maintain Windows installers and updates as necessary.
  • Document deployment playbooks, customer installation guides, and internal procedures.
  • Help maintain our SOC2 compliance by assisting with yearly security audits.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and recent, relevant work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps/SRE or build/release engineering with hands-on Azure administration and automation.
  • Proficiency with Installation/Deployment on Windows platforms.
  • Experience packaging and deploying Windows desktop/server applications is a plus.
  • Strong scripting skills (PowerShell) and practical knowledge of networking, identity, and secrets management.
  • Experience with SQL Server administration and operating RESTful services (MVC/Web API) is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with Git/GitHub, Visual Studio, Vanta, and Jira, in an administrative sense is a plus.
  • Ability to research complex technological problems and formulate recommendations for resolution.

Chalkline, Inc. is seeking an experienced and motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to help grow our pipeline by identifying, engaging, and qualifying new prospects in the Architectural, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) market.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify prospective customers, including architectural firms, engineering firms, consultants, and building product manufacturers.
  • Execute outbound outreach campaigns through email, phone, and LinkedIn to generate interest and book meetings.
  • Qualify inbound leads and outbound prospects to determine fit, timing, and buying intent.
  • Schedule product demonstrations and discovery calls for the sales team.
  • Maintain accurate activity tracking and lead records in our CRM.
  • Develop and refine messaging for different market segments, personas, and use cases.
  • Collaborate closely with sales and marketing to support campaigns, events, and webinars.
  • Follow up consistently with prospects to keep opportunities moving forward.
  • Meet or exceed monthly activity and pipeline goals (meetings booked, qualified opportunities, etc.).
  • Provide feedback to leadership on market trends, competitor activity, and customer pain points.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and recent, relevant work experience.
  • 1–3+ years of experience in business development, inside sales, lead generation, or a related role.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and confident phone presence.
  • Comfortable with outbound prospecting and high-volume outreach.
  • Ability to quickly learn and communicate technical software concepts in a clear, approachable way.
  • Experience working with CRM systems and sales engagement tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, Outreach, Apollo, etc.).
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • Interest in (or familiarity with) the AEC industry is a plus.
